Canvas, our student learning management system, provides parents/guardians the ability to access and observe their student’s Canvas page. This provides you the ability to monitor student grades, missing assignments, and set up email/text notifications regarding upcoming activities in classes. Approximately every three weeks, parents will receive an email notification of three-week grade checks. We encourage parents to log in and review grades with their students at this time. This replaces a hard copy progress report sent home.
Below is a link explaining how to set up a Canvas Parent account, which will link to your student’s account. Parents of 8th graders, if an account was set up last year, you do not need to do so again. Your account will remain linked with your student’s account throughout his/her educational career at Logan-Rogersville. Today, September 1st, your student will be coming home with the pairing code you will need to set up your account. This pairing code will expire after seven days.
